The problem with using computer fans is how they function under pressure. Most are designed to just move the air not pressurize it. So once it reaches it's designed pressure point they become useless. The best thing to find would be several alternating directional fans with high pressure tolerance, put them in series and make a small turbine engine. The make a circuit linked to the speed sensor to control voltage to the fans between 7-12 volts.

The Eram spins at 20,000+ RPMs IIRC and wires to a micro switch similar to what N2O kits use to only operate at WOT. It really doesn't get quite 1 PSI, but it does make som posative pressure on most vehicles, heck, even reducing the normal vacuum under WOT is a good gain. Gaining 9HP on a dyno within 10 minutes back to back comparison runs can hardly be disputed...

Nobody gets Autoweek? Small article on this in my issue yesterday. Company has it all figured out (based on the Automotive industry accepting a 42Volt electrical system standard  laugh ).

I am strongly considering it. By all accounts it should be at its best in a 3" pipe such as the CTA intake. Very likely the only thing that might pull me away from it is if I can find a bigger electric blower in the same general price range.

I looked at some of the suppliers of RC airplane motors, and unfortunately very few of them are well suited to twelve volt power.

96 GL Zetec ATX, white with pinstripe, nickname " Sam Smooth "
mods so far: CTA intake with homemade heat shield, KVR drilled front rotors & carbon pads w/ 500° fluid
planned mods: exhaust (want to keep it quiet), e-ram (awaiting installation), diablo chip
involuntary mods: compression increased after head gasket failure
