I have put tons of systems in cars before with ease too and let me tell you, the Contour (98' SE) was anything but easy! I ran the power cable through the hood pop hole down the drivers side of the firewall. I just knocked out the gromet and ran it through there. I was trying to avoid drilling through it by any means possible. Hope that helps you!
