The kits will fit Contour,Focus & Cougar Zetecs.Stage One Can be upgraded to Stage Two later if you wish.The top end (cylinder head etc) has to be torn down for both Stage One & Stage Two kits.Intercooler is an 'add on 'option,BHP quoted is without intercooler(s).Regards ,Terry Haines,Haines Motor Sports Inc. Now to find me a Zetec with a blown motor cheap so I can build one from the ground up... hummmmmmm, had 3 liter plans for the winter... darn it Terry, now I have more stress about what to do... 3 liter and wait for a SC or turbo, get a Zetec early year cheap and turbo's available, but I have to sell my car... aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhh, it's tearing me apart!!!

Terry, how about the rods & pistons at 300 HP. Does stage II recommend changes here too?

If you were 'on track' a lot with the 300hp version I'd say uprated rods,for street use no.The cr is lowered but not by the pistons,gives a higher boost pressure and more of the range 'at boost' Vs a high cr where the boost has to be limited.Boost control is by an integral wastgate in the t/c assy.The stock sytems 1 & 2 are without i/coolers,but one is designed to fit either stage and is an extra if required.regards Terr Haines ,HMS Inc

Cost of i/cooler in a week or so.Talking cash,hows this for ONE Contour, ONE Cougar,ONE Focus .....You buy the kit,HMS Inc will install FREE,we get the pics,before/after dyno #'s etc.We can start around Dec/jan....now whos willing???
