If you were 'on track' a lot with the 300hp version I'd say uprated rods,for street use no.The cr is lowered but not by the pistons,gives a higher boost pressure and more of the range 'at boost' Vs a high cr where the boost has to be limited.Boost control is by an integral wastgate in the t/c assy.The stock sytems 1 & 2 are without i/coolers,but one is designed to fit either stage and is an extra if required.regards Terr Haines ,HMS Inc
