The Jag motor has variable cam timing on the intake cams. I believe that the S-Type also has a variable length intake manifold.

Both the LS and S-Type have a completely different coolant manifold setup than the Taurus. The coolant flows into and out of the engine at the front. Not at the rear as in the Taurus and all other Duratecs.
