i go the car running but still want to do the swap. I need some one here to do it. I need to know if theres anyone that can and will, i have got prices on labor and its around $2000. I would also like to see if anyone can qote a price maybe to build it. I have $$. but want to do it right, so later i can run a turbo.

Hey there big man, do you already have the 3 liter block? Just what do you want the 3.0 to have. ANy upgrades? this is alot to consider when building it. I'm in 909 land to

u can contact sho shop...they will definitely do the install but as far as the buildup i dont know....they are in huntington beach here in soCal ...
they were non commital when i took my atx to them to ask about the swap but said they could try it
im not having any luck finding anywhere else to do the install here either so i may have to give them a try...they are experts at it overall i would guess
95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!

Well i talked to the SHO shop and they want way to much. they only build the bottom end! 3.0 block with pistion($2500)labor($2000)! I can and will be getting a 01 3.0 complete with about 10,000 miles for $550.  I need low com pistion ( for about 15 psi of boost)and good rods. I want everything ported and polished. UIM LIM. TB , and the Heads, good values would be nice too. ASlo a good set of cams for the car. HOw can build this monster for me?

ASlo a good set of cams for the car. HOw can build this monster for me?speed costs money.....and it sounds like you want to go really fast, so it's really going to cost you. custom pistons will set you back above 750, rods probably more....not including labor to put it all together. why not try to build it yourself? Look up David Z...he's building another 3.0 for a custom turbo..... Or, consider this, that's a boatload of money to put into a Contour, when you can go out and get a Mustang Cobra and with bolt-on's, you'll run your dream of 12's, for a much cheaper price! That's what JOEYS and Bob King did, dumped the SVT-C's for Mustangs!

Post your budget, we'll tell you how fast you can go. No offense, but with what you're posting as "to much", I'd say you'd be lucky to see 14's.

Where did you find a complete '01 3.0l for $550? The prices I've gotten have been about twice that or more.
