Myself and everyone I know have been through this scenerio: Work from us is taken on by someone who is knowledgable but not communicative, good but non committal when it comes to price and especially schedule.
I intend to meet with whoever ends up doing my swap and getting everything in writing, including what will be done to the engine, what options, if any, I have, how long it will take, etc. If someone is good at what they do it doesnt matter if they cant see the wisdom in doing this.
I have been burned before, but wont be again.
