Hello, I recently installed the B&M short shifter and I don't think the retaining clip thingy that people have problems with was in there. Does anybody have any pics of what the clip looks like and if so the part number. My shifter works fine, but it is a little loose (the stock shifter was the same way). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is a plastic thing, on the left-front corner of the shifter tower.

Here is a pic of the "bearing" and the part number is on the bag.

Double check your screws on top of the tower too for looseness.

Any other questions, feel free to drop me an e-mail.

Thanks Eric, but I was looking for a pic of the actual shifter with the clip and bearing already installed on. I made sure everything in there is tight and it is. The only thing that is loose is the shifter itself, but as I said before, the stock shifter was the same way. Is it possible that Ford never put the retaining clip or bearing in there to begin with?
