Kinger's got the right idea. Order key blanks and have them cut to your original key pattern. Then the dealer will have to initiate the new keys for the new ECU before they will work. Simple.

Ok, so I need to buy blank transponder keys, have them cut for MY car and then take everything down to a ford dealer and have them program the key(s) to the new ECU?? Do I have it right?

thing is my car doesn't have PATS at all, it's a 96 year. Doesn't it need to have some sort of antena on the stearing colum or something in order for it to all work?
