Well I was in the junk yard the other day when I saw a wrecked taurus with all rear damage. It was a 24V with 50,000 mi on it. I have been thinking of upgrading to a 3.0 for along time now. How much work is it to put it in? Do I need anyother parts to make this work? How much of a perfomance difference is there? I put engines into other cars by myslef with some help from friends, do you think I could get this in myself? How much is a good price for an engine like the one I found(it was a new wreck so it hasn't been siting for along time). I know I asked alot of ???? but I hope one of you 3.0 guru's can help me out.
