I would advise the LS 3.0 Vs the Taurus as it has more potential re moving up to the Jag X type specs.The biggest shorfall of the Taurus 3.0 is the valve train design..it does not lend itself to much tuning over and above stock.The LS/Jag on the other hand has far more potential...depends how far you want to go...and how fast!!!
