Well, I can always play with making a splitter. Perhaps if the splitter is very thin where it comes close to the Tbody it wont take up much of area. That's a good idea about widening out the sides to compensate for a divider...I'll keep that in mind. The T-body hasn't come yet, and I am very eager to try it now that these headers seem to have made a significant improvement.
Kaiser, when I get the new Tbody done, I will be heading to the dyno. If you want to drive it, you should go as well. BTW, Steve will be down here tomorrow morning and we are going to try running the ignition module again for the GReddy. I'll let you know how it goes since timing is more of an issue now than ever since Buckshot's motor is gone. I will focus a lot of energy into getting it to work so that people have a good option for forced induction, even the zetecs.

Your a good man, Sir. When you heading out to Misery? I would love to do a greddy emanage(had to physically force myself away from the computer so I didn't buy one off Ebay the other night), but I know that complete stand alone is in my future so I exercise will power and buy nothing until I get the GOOOD stuff. Good luck with the TB, Sir

Ok, I got my 70mm TB today(finally).
It is brand new and looks Big. It doesn have any bypass channels or anything, just a spot to mount a TPS and of course the linkage hookup. It's too late to compare it tonight, but in the Morning I will play with it. Here's to you Brad !!!!!! Your post on your success with the 70mm is what finally tipped me to buy it.

Now you just need to relocate the battery to fit a CAI in there large enough to feed it!

Alright guys, got a little problem with a 65mm throttle body that I just picked up. Sparks up in Jacksonville had an extra lying around, so I took it off his hands . He modded it slighty different though, he used the fulcrum off the SVT tb, and retrofitted it to the 65mm. My problem(aside from the fact that the tb will nearly close itself without throttle stop modification)is that now I have some nasty throttle hang! When I first start the car it revs to 3k, then settles down to 1,250, and stays there, but as soon as I touch the throttle it's back up to 3,000. While cruising thru the gears the engine doesn't derev , and will actually cruise on it's own(like cruise control)at around 1,950-2k. The car really screams with the new tb, and didn't require that much additional fuel with the S-AFC(1% from 5k-7.5k). So if you guys have any ideas on what I should do I would greatly appreciate it. Throttle hang fix? I did check and throttle plate does close all the way, but there is a slight(hair)space between the plate perimiter and tb housing. Thanks guys.

Did you plug the bypass port?
I plugged it with magnasteel and dremeled it smooth/curved.
Is it leaking at the top of the TB gasket? The 65mm does not cover the EGR cutouts.
This is why the SVT TB gasket is needed & I also add a thin (very) coat of permatex to help it stick. (at the top uncovered part)

Hummmmmmm, never had that problem with my 70mm one. The only reason I have the TH fix done is to keep Bullwinkle out of my engine bay. Might do as Demon suggests and plug the bypass port (which the 70 doesn't have). Good luck!

Thanks for the thoughts, but the bypass port is plugged, and this thing still hangs like horse . I really don't know what to do, I don't think that the slight space between the throttle plate and the inner tb is the problem(it doesn't idle rough), and I checked the gasket-it looks good as well(I added some rtv sealant to the top). So what gives?

Is the slight gap, as in when it's not quite closing all the way? You bet that can cause this problem. I missed that in your first post. You need to adjust your throttle plate a little bit so it can close all the way bubba. I'll bet ya that's it. Just loosen the two screws a bit and fiddle with the positioning and tighten them back down. You should be able to do it while it's still on the car too... Good luck man!
