Any experience with changing from return style to returnless fuel system? I'm sure I saw someone post about having done this but now I can't find it. I'm asking because I'm looking at swapping in as much of a 2001 3L as possible (heads, LIM/UIM, PCM, harness, etc.) in order to reduce complications with mixing and matching parts and in order to have a PCM that is running what it actually thinks it's running. I'll look to SVT cams, exhaust work (no precats in 2.5 exhaust manifolds into y-pipe and 2.5" exhaust), and maybe some mild head work to get beyond the stock 200/200 HP/TQ. It sounds like Cardoc has a way to
move the IAC to make room for the UIM, but the LIM and PCM are based on a returnless fuel system where as my 98 Mystique is return. I can get the fuel pump along with the 3L engine. And yes, I realize that this limits options for SC'ing. By the way, I have no previous experience with this type of swap which is why I'll be using the services of HMS - I've already talked to Terry, but I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this before I jump. Thanks.

Going to returnless?

I suppose it is possible.

New fuel rail, fuel pump, new wiring harnesses, custom PCM programming (maybe new PCM?), a couple sensors, different fuel vapor system?, probably a few more things.

Making the change from returnless to return is much easier. You sure this isn't what you saw posted?

Could be, especially since I can't find it now.
