You know, I am going to be in Fort Leonard-Wood Missouri for training this summer. I believe you live in Michigan right? I wonder how long it would take to drive up to your place for a weekend to attend the training seminar.
As it is now, Tucson AZ is just too far from you to drive, and flying would make it a $500+ enterprise for me.
I will ask again later when I know the exact dates of the course I will be attending.
As far as the earlier post, I didn't quite understand what was the cause of the diff's blowing.
I also wonder if the stock gearset is good enough for hard running of 300-350 wHP. I am checking on various heat treating processes right now to see whether they can be performed on a gearset after manufacture and then re-used again. My concern with that is whether or not there would be too much distortion in the part tolerances after the treatments. I am going to be speaking to one of my professors on this very subject soon.
Thanks again.
