I too am a bit concerned about the loss of oil pan cooling due to the coating. Chromed pans are notorious for raising heat levels...Demon, chromed I'd be concerned about, but not the powder coat as it has similar properties to paint rather than a thin layer of metal like chrome. Not to mention I don't think the small extra amount of heat that could be trapped will make any monumental difference.
