You are correct in that the car is running but you were wrong on the car being "choked". Just the opposite in fact, the car has...
1.) a 1999 3L short block
2.) ported and polished SVT high-comp heads
3.) the valves flow just as much as larger valves do as the opening that the valves "seat" in is the same where the valves are larger or smaller, only so much air can flow through the same sized hole
4.) the LIM is a 3L piece with some custom mods to make everything work
5.) the UIM is also a 3L piece with improved airflow characteristics
6.) the secondaries are fully functionaly thanks to a customed designed IMRC
7.) a custom manufactured intake has been installed an now occupies the area where the battery used to reside
8.) gutted pre-cats
9.) the engine ran incredibly well with the stock Y-pipe and exhaust but...
10.) this week it receives a fully custom Y-pipe and cardoc exhaust system design especially for this particular vehicle
11.) and maybe the biggest part of the whole set-up, 24-lb injectors that finally gives this engine the fuel it needs

The car runs very, very strong and already has all the ricers and turbo junkies in the area shaking when it pulls up to a stop-light. I can't wait to put it back into my garage in the next couple of weeks, as its been under construction since Jan. 2ond.
