I'm sorry if it comes off negative. I didn't mean that. I just am sensing that there is a lot of posts on here lately that seem to be justifying this CarDoc fellow and his board. I don't know the man and have no beef with anyone, but I am kind of tired of the 'colored' statements that seem to have the dual purpose of telling the CEG how great this guy is. I guess taken with the "super-exhaust" system posts there seemed to be a pattern. So no offense intended.
EDIT "I'm not saying that CarDoc is/isn't great. I only think that posting of information should be unbiased. If someone wants to convince people that this guy or his board is great, then use the general forum." END EDIT
As far as your car, I am rooting for you 100%.
You have to understand that I am an analytical type of person, and I have posted my feelings about the 3L intake in the past. This is not singled out towards you. My feeling is that that style of manifold is geared towards a torque curve that is more beneficial to an automatic transmission, as well as the info I posted in the above message. On the other hand, you are the only person I know of that is making the 3L manifolds work so far, so good for you. I hope that you get good results and are willing to share all of the details of the engine as well as a dyno plot.
By the way, I want to warn you about cutting your pre-cats out of your manifolds. I'm beginning to suspect that it has given me some driveability issues. I am presently searching for a cheap set of headers either new or used. If you do cut your exhaust manifolds, then make sure you have a spare set.
Good Luck, and again my appologies.
