I'm afraid your link doesn't work right...

And I'm afraid of re-registering at FC.org...

Because I'm afraid of all the spam-mail I'll get...

Well its differnt I can sure as hell say that. Id really like to see some DYNO charts with specific HP and TQ info becuase im skeptical of the 3l upper intake. What year is this 3l Upper intake becuase the one I got on my 2001 3.0L is plastic, So is the lower as a matter of fact. I say all hail once the dyno is unvailed.

That thing is completely awesome...I know Cardoc has been much maligned on this sight, but he always seems to be in the forfront of the Contour's future.

How so? I can think of at least 8 people who have done the 3L before him, and mine was done by an idiot (me) and a mechanic who had NEVER worked on a Contour in his life. Unless he has discovered something new about the 3L, he is just another one of the players, nothing more. I can think of one team of two people who will have a 3L at Spring Zing capable of crushing anything that comes its way, whether that is on the drag strip, the autocross, or at Gingerman. Now THAT project is certainly in the forefront of the Contour's future.

Well, I would assume that the car on fc.org will be pressurized in one way or another(there were several references to it in that thread) also I don't think anyone here is running a 3L block and Upper Lower w/ the SVT heads. He also make alot of references to "things" that will be disclosed later. I am sure the car you refer to Warmonger is something to behold, it seems like he has done an extremely thorough job in documenting that swap for all to see, which also seems to be a first.

Uhh the contour already puts enough power to the ground to over come the suspension in the autoX.

Unless they've done some incredibly drastic things to the suspension and are very good drivers. I wouldn't count on the 3L being the fastest in the AutoX..

Then again we'll just have to wait and see won't we smile
