Actually, in doing some research, I came in contact the the engine builder for Leo Capaldi's Cougar..... he owns Kinetics in Michigan...
I asked him about larger valves in a 2.5L, and he said they chose to use the stock valve sizes in the 2.5L engine because the larger valves got too much in the way of the piston and/or cylinder and what not, and they didnt see any gains.... I found this bit of info to be interesting, to say the least....
Someone may be able to offer a more scientific explanation as to why larger valves in the 2.5L engine may not work well...?????
