Aware of this

If using the entire engine how do you plan to get the upper to fit under the hood.
Now if planning to use the 01 3L lower (single oval port) and SVT upper. I would be very interested in seeing the fabrication work (no sarcasm - I really am interested!)

slight modification of 3L upper wink after all thats the name of the game. ALthough a kinda like the idea of a cowl induction type hood wink

Oh yeah! The ATX loses a lot more than the MTX, but what does that matter for "crank ratings" laugh

Just asking, not comparing laugh

BTW - The 3L makes 0HP & ~30TQ more than a stock SVT. (at the crank!) However IMO the 2.5L SVT (heck either 2.5) is under-rated in Torque.

So are you saying you dont want an extra 30ft/lbs?? The loss of torque in the driveline is not the same as horsepower (I am sure you are aware of that) My stock SVT put down 150ft/lbs frown so if I can dyno a 180 at the wheels using a stock 3L and then add similar mods you used to acheive your numbers, the results should be pretty rewarding. Add in a Vortech (if it doesnt self distruct  ) and it should scream...
