Tom....Thanks for all the really hard work! As far as my install goes..it hasn't. I was called to duty this weekend (was originally an alternate, but the primary got sick;. It always seems to work that way
). Looking to have the unit in by this Sunday (hopefully).
One question, I was planning on mounting the unit onto the firewall, inside the cabin, just to the left and bellow the PCM. Do you see any problem cutting away the deadening and mounting it directly to the metal or should I make some sort of bracket and mount it away from the metal (better airflow, less vibration, etc..)?
