Well, you may not like the interface because there is none.
Once the unit is set you just tuck it away. If you use a laptop, then you can always communicate with it realtime to see what is going on, but hey, when you drive you should be driving.

The only way to tune the system is with a PC. A laptop would provide you with an endless number of files that you can save for whatever purpose, drag, track, etc. It takes about 30 seconds to download a new file to the unit, which can be done while it is running. That along with the almost instant updates when you make small changes is pretty nice.
I think one of the reasons that it doesn't cost that much is becsause there is no display.

BTW: As far as my theory about the pcm keeping airflow "proportionate", that is still just theory! I am only offering/adapting my explanation for the physical problem that I face. Any ideas are welcome of course.
