Here it is... Exhaust valves are a higher temp matl (Nimonic) .They operate at a higher temp than the intakes,which are cooled by the incoming charge.In most conditions the exhausts operate with a slight 'glow'so they must resist oxidization better than intakes.I would not use intakes in place or exhausts...'The China Syndrome....'core melt down'...
