I will test your theory out on my car for sure this week/weekend when I get the time. Your other testing has proven to be accurate and our problems are the same. Anyone else who has a '99/2000 svt/reg v6 (stuttering) with an extra maf (and/or extra cash) and some mechanical ability please experiment with this as well - since if enough of us produce the same result through the same action, we can get definate proof of cause-and-effect. I'll update with my results asap.
