Just click on this link for a good laugh! http://www.fordcontour.org/cgi-bin2/ikonboard.cgi?s=3c6378ca7f10ffff;act=ST;f=32;t=3 Just remember that the car is going into the paint booth next weekend and will begin to be pieced back together soon there afterwards. Look for some interesting suprises in the very near future.

I can't help but reiterate the point I made before so that those of you doing the 3L swap can save time and work. Pull the whole powertrain through the top. It is a very simple pull when you do it that way. I can't imagine spending hours underneath trying to unbolt everything connecting the trans and engine together plus miscellaneous crap and having even less room to pull the engine because the flywheel is still on it.
Pulling the whole powertrain took four hours from the time I touched the first bolt till the engine was on the floor, and that was by myself.
Yes I'm thumpin' my chest, but I just don't want anyone from CEG working harder than they have to. Or getting frustrated in the process and breaking shiit. The more work done in the car the more stuff gets ruined.

If you have the means to drop it out the bottom, it's even easier... I'll agree on the engine and trans out the top being the best way for a driveway or personal garage extraction though...
