I actually tested out the Valentine One the other day with a friend who has one. I thought it was rather bulky. Granted on certain areas the Valentine One had better range, in other areas the Passport was better. The arrows weren't that accurate and I like the small, sleek look of the Passport, not to mention the extra features and easy programming. I just have mine showing the vehicle voltage (like a battery guage which I don't have) and it looks spiffy and can sometimes fool other drivers. Plus the added benefit of different brightness settings and the added benefit of SWS when driving around the Austin, TX area makes it pretty cool. I'm not knocking the Valentine One but I did test both models out before choosing and it was rather hard, but then again, the Passport was $100 cheaper, well, I guess $70 after counting the added expense of the direct wire purchase.
