I just have mine showing the vehicle voltage (like a battery guage which I don't have) and it looks spiffy and can sometimes fool other drivers. Plus the added benefit of different brightness settings and the added benefit of SWS when driving around the Austin, TX area makes it pretty cool. I'm not knocking the Valentine One but I did test both models out before choosing and it was rather hard, but then again, the Passport was $100 cheaper, well, I guess $70 after counting the added expense of the direct wire purchase.[/QB]
Hmm.. The new V1 is less bulky, can be programmed as well (something most people don't realize), and it has brightness sensitivity - When it gets dark outside, so does the display. Also, the V1 comes with the direct wiring stuff, so no extra $30 as with the Passport. The arrows work about 99% of the time, but to understand how they work, you should read the manual. I'm not sure how they worked wrong for you.
Take your sleekness over range, but when you get a ticket, don't come crying back to us.
