Nobody's completed a complete 3.0 long block swap that I know of, several more in the works though. The 3 liters that I have assembled/disassembled use the exact same rear aluminum valve cover with a very similar one on the front, save for the WP drive hole. The heads are of very similar castings, measuring the same height, width (save for one oil return passage on the rear of each bank) and will have no different fitment issues.
