ok i know there is a problem wiht it fittin gunde the hood what if there was no hood. well is there any more power if i used the whole 3L or if i used my 2.5nonsvt parts and 3L stuff. i was just wondering. thanks.

I think it's only the 3.0 intake manifold that doesn't fit under the hood. And why would you run w/o a hood anyways?

well i am working wiht my dad on this project and he says to pu thte whole thing in. if the hood dose not close then we can do a hood exteion like what some mustangs have. i realy don't want ot but that is life.

so...like a hood scoop? except to clear the intake manifold?

yea but with out the scoop. i guess i could make it have a scoop but it would only cool engine.

I would love to hear if the whole 3.0 would be better, if you are not afraid to deal with the hood issue. The ceilings the limit, or it was

I would also like to hear which would be better for the upcoming turbo, a complete 3.0 or the current hybrid. Heck, if you are willing to drop $5000 for the 3.0 and the turbo what's a hood scoop or custom carbon fiber hood to that.

I believe the extrude honed SVt 2.5L upper is better than the taurus manifold. It would be better to use your 3L heads though instead of stock 2.5L heads.
It would be interesting to see the horsepower, though I guess if it was completely stock then you would get the stock 200 HP out of the motor. Better torque, but no more power than an SVT motor.
