I'm not sure, but if the cam arrow marking on the CRANK sprocket is wrong, that may not have any bearing on the camshaft markings.
I would think that with your newer engine you could just use the crank sprocket with the correct marks.

If that doesn't work, then put the #1 piston at TDC and align the cams by hand so that the #1 cylinder valves are closed. Then check your timing marks.
