now that I got the block torn down, what are the nessecary mods that I need to do? I know that I need to remove 1/4 inch from the crank. so that the bell housing will mate up. also I heard something about shaving something off the altenator mounting bracket. also plugging up some collant galleys? Im still not certian weather or not Im using the 2.5 SVT heads, or the 3L liter heads. So one of my dilemas is that The 3.0L heads I have are from an escape. Wouldnt they be desinged from more low end tourqe usualy found in an suv? I saw the specs on an earlier post. But they were for a tauras. oh ya and I remember someone saying that the water pump having clearance problems. Please help if you can.
