Please explain to me how altering the TPS voltage would effect WOT settings?

Since the PCM uses a specific throttle percentage to read WOT and runs off a preset table; what difference would a few more hundreths (even a tenth or 2) of a volt mean to anything. Once it reaches said voltage level the PCM thinks it's at WOT and acts accordingly. It does not care if it's 92% 93% 94% (etc) they all equal WOT.

Now above a certain percentage it cares because the high & low voltage ranges are used by the PCM to see if the TPS is bad.

I also would like to see this proof since I have 2 magazines that have tried this mod on both a Mustang & Camaro and show no change at WOT. The only change they showed was an slight increase in fuel flow (rich spike in A/F ratio) for a split second at throttle tip in.
