Hey guys i bought springs and struts from a 98 adn i am planning on putting them on my 96. WIll my strut mounting plates work or will i ahve to buy 98 svt ones. Also are there isolaters at the top and bottom?

Your talking about fronts right??? (The rears are interchangable.) If you have front struts AND springs from a 98 you can replace them (together) as a unit into a 95-97. (Can't mix any old with new.) Not sure about isolators, but I believe you can reuse all the mounting HW from your old struts. (Except of course the springs and stuts...) The BAT catalog has some interesting notes on this subject.

All you need to change is the springs and struts. I did this about 2 years ago.


96LX/24V/ATX/Midnight Red/A4 repeaters/SVT exhaust/KKM/65mm throttlebody/SVTsprings and ST200 struts/SE rockers and BAT spoiler/BAT 19mm swaybar/urethane bushings/Kenwood 7 speaker syst./E1 SVT brakes w Powerslot rotors/9005 lowbeams/885 fogs/50% tint/Michelin XM+S 130's for winter/E1's with gForces for summer...and now "New Paint!!"
