Finally got my exhaust finished up over the long weekend. Its all ready for the 15th. Got my resonator removed and straight piped . Sounds great and really lets the Dynomax ST's growl. I don't know about all this talk regarding the exhaust droning at highway speeds. I can't tell any difference in the cab at ANY speed unless I have the windows down. FYI: I paid $31.50 at my local muffler shop and I got a 1 year warranty included on the work. It took about 15 minutes once it got on the rack and that included mandrel bending the pipe.

one question tho... did you have more work done than just the replacement of the resonator? cause all you need is a straight pipe, you dont need anything with a curve in it..unless im wrong..

but im glad everything turned out okay!! soon, I will be post whorin my baby all over the place!! cause i will FINALLY have my wheels!!

After the res comes out the new pipe needs to be bent just a tiny bit. I use the term "straight pipe" meaning tha it is just a pipe in the purest sense. Other than Dynomax mufflers and the resonator removed thats all I have and pretty much all that can be done unless I increased the pipe diameter all the way back. I dont want to do that because I will lose some torque.

hmm, I just ask that, because my friend back here, suriel,(carrot_top) just had his done and I looked at it and it didnt curve any so thats why I was wondering... but he also just had a custom catback put on and its 2.5" back.

hey tom. when we meet the 15th i want to hear it...i got minds * fixed * ( smoothy knows about that ) got a new flex pipe then put 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back to stock muffler...and like you said there is no drooning at all in mines...the only time i hear some is when i come up to a light and stop but the RPM's are still high ( kinda like TH ) thats when i hear some but sounds greeeeeeeeeeeeeat...
