Hey all. Seem to be some other SVT folk around at the moment, so I thought I'd ask: I saw that the instructions for the the TH fix mention a possibility of it sapping a little power on the 99+ SVTs. I did the fix (woohoo! a toughie, that one), and can't really tell if it sapped power or if it's the reverse placebo effect and it just feels like it because I read that it might. Anyone else tried it? The car wasn't suffering terribly from TH anyway, so...
Also. Who wants to make a new friend and get free dinner and beer? I'm getting a new water pump in this week for a sort of preemptive replacement, so I don't have to go through what v6contourv6 and countless others are. But I'm cheap, and want to start learning my way around my new car, and all my good tools are conveniently located in Seattle. Who wants to help?
