To clarify this WAS NOT how I done this. I did not want to use any switches etc that may fail. The device I use is a inductive proximity sensor that SENSES the movement of the secondary cam. When the cam moves to within 2mm of the sensor, it detects and sends an output voltage to the LED. Simialr principe to the ABS sensor on the wheel hub.

Also mine is bolted to the lower intake, not glued.
