I did add some mods but not anything major in terms of serious performance (K&N, 17" wheels, and resonator) on the CSVT. I guess I'm past that stage in life (so my wife says) frown ; my CSVT is essentially a kiddie/grocery getter.

My Firebird is the benfactor of mods such as chip programming, valve job, exhaust goodies, baer brakes, suspension goodies. It's a very strong car but its not pratical for everyday driving.

Did you have any installation fitiment problems with the SHO ypipe?

No, No isues other than tight bolts. It bolted right up nicely. I am very happy with this mod. $$$ well spent. It really compliments intake upgrades. Spent some time reworking the maf yesterday. Opened up the k&n to slide right over the maf adapter. Butt dyno is really happy. I think I'm going with the proflow 80mm precalibrated maf next. bwahhhhhhh

Have you had your CSVT dyno'd? I've taken my firebird to the Dynotech place on Rt 1 in Woodbridge but have never had the CSVT dyno'd.

No, It's on the list. I'm thinking of getting a proflow 75mm and an apex for tuning. At that time I'm going to get it dyno tuned properly. That will be it for mods to this motor. It's at about 94k and I don't see the point in going any deeper into modding this one. Looking at poss 3.0 upgrade in the next year or so. Based on what everyone is running HP wise, I estimate I'm getting about 175 to the wheels. Ive driven others modded and for some reason mine pulls really hard. I think after the maf and apex I'll be about maxed out around 180 to the wheel. There is also a place in springfield that does mustangs. dont know the name but i hear they do good engine and dyno work. Lets start a new thread and maybe others will kick in some topics. Oh That black SVT i spoke of a week ago. Turns out he is in class with me. Ironic.

Yes, I too live in Northern Virginia. I live near Dulles Airport in Loudoun County. I have resided in Woodbridge, Alexandria, and Manassas in the past.
