I have been through a few trans mounts, but I think that the fronts are the fragile ones.

Connected to the trans on the upper driverside. I was thinking maybe designing a solid mount but I don't know what it would feel like.

The trans & engine castings are a little thin in some areas.A few race teams use solid mounts but,for example, a drag racer with an 'LS' had solid mounts and tore the side out of the block!...not a good idea if your car is a daily driver....

Brad Noon has solid mounts..maybe he can get you a set.

I've never taken my car to a drag strip, the other night on the street I revved to about 3k, slipped it a little, once the car started moving I let off the clutch and stomped the gas. I spun alot. It was humid and damp out though.
