Took S4 to the track last night and had an OK run figuring in that i've never ran a turbo car before. Oh yeah I raced a Focus SVT so i'll put his numbers too.

------- S4------- Focus SVT

R/T----.569 -------.693
60'----2.112-------2.301
330----6.146-------6.600
1/8----9.440-------10.107
MPH----75.85-------69.80
1000---12.208------13.121
1/4----14.551------15.641
MPH----95.96-------89.89

So what do yeah think, keep in mind I am bone stock and so was he.

Not to sound like a complete dick, but 2.1 for an AWD turbo car is not that impressive. You should be sub 2.0's in no time. Just takes a LOT of getting used to coming out of the hole with them. Trust me.

How were you launching it?

Agreed....I've seen 1.7-1.8 for a stock.....but your 1/4 time isn't too bad for your first run....Although I have seen timeslips for stock S4's (experienced drivers) around 14.1-14.3 even say one 13.9. It is wierd though the S4's are very inconsistent between models.....I believe it has alot to do with mantainace and such. The BPV's have a tendacy to get stuck which reduces the amount of boost. I have heard alot of stories of ppl buying an S4 and changing the BPV and there car changes completely.

Anyways nice runs! Where do you live...I may just come and steal that S4! wink

VW/Audi Diverter Valves sukballz.

Our GTI is running a 225hp Audi TT valve and it still stays open if you have a good shift.. ..sorta beats the purpose of trying hard.. frown

Get yourself a pair of Forge DVs and installed them reversed. That alone will totally change your car..

..then buy a chip for it. :p laugh

Yeah like I said its gonna take some getting used to. I launched at about 4000rpm and got a descent pull off the line. Where do you think I should be launching at?? Yep in the process of getting MTM Gen.2 chip
