I launched the same way each time, since it's an automatic. Stood on the brake, stood on the gas, let go of the brake. My theory is that idling in the staging lanes fills the engine bay with hot air, causing the car to struggle more coming off the line with the open K&N.
i think you would be amazed at what a better launch could do for you. the 60' times are not too good. have you tried stalling it lower than the limiter? it seems like youre breaking loose in 1st gear.
notice the 2.51 60' time compared to the SVT 2.41 time... all the difference was in the launch...
