Any idea how well that TC would run on a 3.0L?

With low compression (8.5:1 or less) and beefy rods, the sky is the limit. Just don't tell your tranny :p

Because of this post I have decided to ignore all turbo related posts....j/k.

You are really making me want to go into serious debt right now.

BTW...My engine has 70,xxx km's on it right now, and will probably have more on it by the time I can afford this kit and all of the upgrades that should accompany it. What kind of things should I do to freshen-up my engine before I hammer 290fwhp to the ground?

That's a very linear powerband!

The secondaries are definitely not needed and a restriction. wink
Actually, I think it would still be better to keep them so that the initial take-off before the turbo spools is better. However, I'm sure that turbo is spooled by the time the engine is hitting 2 grand, therefore opening them much earlier would be smart.
I am guessing that opening the imrc around 1800 rpm would be pretty beneficial when the throttle postion is WOT. For good fuel economy you would want to keep its normal opening procedures when not at WOT.

The secondaries are needed down low or you bog. If the intake manifold was like on the ST220 or even the Taurus, the swirl/tumble effects would allow for no secondaries and still have good low RPM performance. As you can see around 3500RPM there is not a HUGE jump, but rather a smooth curve. This means the secondaries might need to be opened just a little sooner, but still needed due to the runner config.

Oh, and we just went a little higher today with 93-ish octane gas. Returnless fuel systems are pretty cool once you figure out how to play with them. smile
