I trapped 86. 16 flat, I trapped 86. 15.7, I trapped 86. Is my car falling on its face after the shift to fourth gear? Am I doing something wrong? I'm lost.
-R-Hmmm, must be a Contour thing. My one trip to the track netted a best of 16.0 at 86.7 mph. Like you, I had horrendous launches. I haven't been back since doing most of my mods and figuring out how to drive better (I hope) so don't know what the car'll do today.
Don't know the physics of why different times would give the same trap speeds though?
