That is awesome! I assume that the track is at or below Sea level, right? That run is proof of driving skill. With those mods, most people wouldn't have even been close. Does anyone know how the correction for altitude works??? The tracks here in AZ are somewhere around 1500 ft.

Be hard pressed to get those 18's moving that fast... [/b]Yeah your telling me. These things are too heavy. I had no idea the rims slow you down so much.

Actually, say if they're 5lbs a piece heavier, you'll hardly notice a difference. 1-2hp maybe, tops. I did see a dyno of a Civic DX that lost 9hp because of different wheels, but that was going from 14" stockers which weighed about 16lbs to 19" chrome wheels which weighed 29lbs. HUGE difference. Ahh well I was thinking that I lost more. I raced my friend last night and I kept even with him the whole way. He is putting down about 173hp and I am putting down around 182hp. So I know they make a difference. I will put the stockers on soon to see. They may only show 1-2 loss on dyno but in the 1/4 you will see the diff.
