I agree. Unless those bores are nikasil (I don't believe they are, still cast iron, correct?) they should clean up nicely. My experience has been detonation is a killer, and my engines always run better on gasoline than aluminum. Tough luck, but pioneers will always pay a higher price than those that follow them.
