Breaking the engine in was one of the reasons he didn't make it to last weeks meet. The MAF calibrated to the 42# injectors was also late getting here. We used my old 17# injectors (cause the 42's wouldn't idle at all) with Vortech's FPR to drive around town with to get a few miles on her and make sure all other plumbing was working without leaks, but he had to keep it under 5k to keep it from running lean. The engine was assembled "loose" (towards the outer limits of spec) to ease break in (under the advisement of HMS, this works well with boosted applications to speed top ring seat in as well). He should have around 500+ miles pretty easily and be ready to hit the dyno hard today with the 42's and the MAF keeping fuel demands in check. The oil pressure sender unit for his aftermarket oil gauge began to fail last night, that gave him a bit of an increased pulse when he saw it go from 70 psi to 0, then flicker a bit!!! eek

I'd say you guys are close with guessing the first round of numbers, but we've got more to do to it before SZ. If Rick wants to, we'll report the numbers after he's been tuned today too... but for now, all you guys are going to get are initial numbers. :p
