I am just going by what I read on there website, which says to use automobile manufacturers recommended cold inflation spec and what works for me. I can leave at 6000 rpm +/- 200 rpm and dont have a problem hooking my SVT at 32 psi so I don't see any reason to go lower and increase rolling resistance, but if 18-22 psi works for you that is great.
