Well, I finally got my Eldo dynoed, and finally got round to posting it.
236.2 horsepower, 292.8 torque. STD Ath the wheels. Assuming a theoretical horsepower loss of 25% due to automatic tranny, likely have 285 Horsepower at the crank, and a 5% loss of torque (numbers being told to me as average losses through fwd automatic trannies, feel free to correct me if these estimates are off) 315 torque at the crank. Those crank figures are educated guesses, tis all, the STD wheel power is accurate though. Also learned a slightly odd fact, though maybe not so odd. 2nd gear will take my car to 90 mph. I hadn't really noticed that. Ah well, tis my dyno test on a 1997 Cadillac Eldorado (base model) with just a set of high flow mufflers, all else stock. Enjoy contour buddies.
