Anyone wanting to run there car, there is a race setup at Norwalk Raceway in norwalk, ohio. It started off with a few guys talking trash and has evolved to over 100 cars. We rent the track for day and everyone who is invited can run. It costs about 40 bucks and the test and tune session after is free. Here is a link for more info.

Yup that is me they are talking about. I beat the cougar last year, but he has done a lot of work to his car, so he is out of my league. I would like to see some more tours out there. It is a lot of fun.

WHere in Ohio is Norwalk, and when is this Smackdown?

Norwalk is in upper Ohio, right off the turnpike I80/90(mile marker 118). For the guys who are familar with the midwest, norwalk is directly south of Cedar Point(amusement park). It's around 1 hr from cleveland, 45 mins from Toledo, 1-1/2 hr from Detroit, 3 hrs from Cincinnati. Hope this helps. Btw, Norwalk is known for it's great condition and traction; that's where svt2000 got his first 14 sec pass. I won't be surprised to see more tours in the 14s if you guys ever run there.

Ack, I'd like to run but thats a 5 hour drive for me. Any incentive? Payouts?

No there is no payout, but the incentive is to ran the best times you can and beat whoever you can.

So the winner gets nothing but braggin rights?

Whats the fastest time I'd need to beat? :0)

Anyone know what folks are running up there?

Depends on what you have. There has been times from 10`s to 15. It just all depends on what kind of car your running.
