I went to the Houston Raceway Park today to run my SVT. The weather was decent 75 degrees with 50% humidity and my car was running pretty decent. I ran with all of the mods listed in my sig except for the Pro-M because it still isn't working right. My third and fourth passes were my two best 14.59 & 14.53. I am now thinking that with good weather it is possible to get a 2.5 Litre car with bolt ons to run 14.2-14.3, I guess only time will tell.
Here are the numbers from the time slips from runs three and four.
Run #3

The 60' times are a combination of the Quaife and Nitto drag radials. I usually leave between 5000 and 6000 rpm depending on track conditions and if everthing works ok and I dont screw up I get no tire spin or clutch slippage. On my last run I tried a little more RPM trying to get a 14.40 out of it and ended up spinning through first gear and only ran a 15.01@93.36

No plans for any kind of forced induction, I have decided to see just how quick it can go staying naturally aspirated. I think there is still quite a bit of time to be dropped before considering any kind of power adder. Most people aren't using even close to all of the power they have avialable at the dragstrip so why add 100 more horsepower the chassis can't handle.

Awesome times & 60'
I'd sure love to have a quaife! I'm always afraid my diff will break launching on street tires, much less drag slicks...

The Quaife is nice and I am fairly confident it won't break but I am still worried about the CV's. I guess the $500 tubular driveshafts may be next on my parts list. I think they are suppose to be able to handle up to 350 horsepower.

Damn you. j/k Now I have to go back to the drawing table to get my time lower. Very impressive times. So there is a chance of getting a SVT in low 14`s N/A. You have a few more mode then me. I have a couple of intake mods in the works, along with a chip. Hoping to get them in before the season opens here in MI.
