Wow!!! What the heck happened here I knew this would bring up some opinions, bud DAMN! Look, for those of you that have spent money on your Tour', GREAT, it's the essence of our existence in the field of performance. Seems like some are pointing fingers at my Throttle Body project. For those that are, you're missing the point. Although, in small part my project has relation, it's the bigger picture!!! This community lacks enough support, in some cases in good reason, but when people are willing to buy a DMD for supposedly $30 less from someone 1000's of miles away, when the BackBones of CEG here are doing all the legwork, not to mention all the other things they are working on and have, that's rediculous, At least that's how I see it! The end result is you only push potential products away from the community (this example is just one of many) ANTONIO you need to make sense before you speak! I'm talking ORANGES your Talking Apples!!!

I like to start saying I do appreciate the hard work that Terry and Chris and Silva and others have shown. I can see the two point of views of the risk takers and the conservatives. I believe that the conservative people want to see proof which is understandable but from what i see is that everyone seems interested to buy until the products leaves the r&d. I will have to reply to this will discourage any more future researches. I I will say this to the sellers I believe that the project should have a total amount of cost shown before the recieving money. Then estimated price for retail and A LOWER COST FOR THE PEOPLE WHO INVEST IN THE PROJECT for the research total since they are the ones taking the risk with you. The investors are like investing in your sucess so therefore If we contribute money to your company we should get something else in return for our help. Who knows this TURBO by Chris I put a $1000.00 down on may Make him serious returns for our help. Think of it as the stock market. I like to say I fully support the researches and the help from this site. I believe we should do all researches as you invest and the share holders recieves benefits or big discount and the conservatives just wait to buy next at retail. my 2cents PS Chris Hightower you never told us what we get for deposits like boost guage, Exhaust sensor, discount, etc??????????????

Burrita, I follow you! That's the main reason why I offered a bonus incentive with the TB. I feel people who come in on this project deserve to get rewarded. I think I'll take your advise and even lower the price of the TB and still offer the incentives as well. But just to let you and others know, at least in my case, from an individual perspective, asking someone to commit to $40 compare to the 4-5 grand I will need to come up with is hardly asking much from a product that any performance minded person knows will be a plus. Again I'm not running some big coorporation, I'm just another SVT fanatic that has some of the sources, means to go one step further like guy's like Chris, Terry, Anastazi, ect. Who know's if things go well guys, I may dive head first into many other projects alone, things like Carbon Fiber products, Cams, *new* Headers, Alt./power steering pulleys for guys with the DMD and so much more. I'd like to share a little secret, "I'm currently working on Volk Racing Wheels," the elite of rims used on Japan Spec street and race vehicles!!!! I guess that's no longer a SECRET

From my point of view, the risk should be borne by the company that stands to make a profit from the product sold; not by the customer who has to prepay for a product that's not even ready yet (unless, of course, you intend to sell it at cost and maybe keep them in mind if you make it big, since after all they financed your operation) Brian Originally posted by SILVA BULLITT: In the case of my Throttle Body, it's the fact that even supporting the program with personal comments/opinions alone is minimal in a site that boast 1000's of devoted members. I'm willing to take the risk of the support is there. All in all there's a bigger picture here and clearly you aren't getting it!!! A Hui Ho, Malama Pono, Ioane Micah....Mach 2 Motorsports

My position is that it is hard to drum up alot of aftermarket support for a discontinued automobile which didn't get alot of love when it was in actual production (from Ford or the general public). I'm sure that my opinion doesn't explain all the issues with aftermarket support, but some people may point that out.

Here is what you said!!! Originally posted by AnTAnT: Maybe your making the wrong products. I think everyone one has a general idea for what they want to do. I.E my first year I spent close $6000 dollars just for mods that make the car look good, and yes I dont consider the bassani a performance mod I got it just for the looks. You can accuse me of backing out on a deal with the Hood lifters but that was due to the MVA sending me a nice bill for $350. All I am saying to me it seems "looks" mods sell a hell of alot faster the any good fast performance mod. Man if you were to come out with a Carbon Fiber hood... you would have tons of buyers. Oh by the way if you can put up then dont speak because all your going to is slow the process down. I know unforseen things happen but if you keep backing out on Group Buy maybe you should check your money first.
-Antonio You are talking about what I should make, that shows how uneducated you are about this Forum and this Topic. If you re-read my original post I'm referring to those that opt to go with some unknown/unfamiliar source to save a few bucks, instead of with those that have provided all the leg work, You're WAY OFF!!! And to top it off, To tell me to put up or don't speak, I have consistently supported many of the leg workers and continue to do so, I won't get into detail but that's all you need to know. If you're telling me it's my money I need to check, God DAMN you're IGNORANT! I definately wouldn't want to provide my services to you in the future after a comment like that! Just remember the only loser in this would be you, the consumer! I hate to tell you all the things I'm currently working on for the Tour' and make you look like a fool in front of your fellow CEG'ers.....A Hui Ho, Ioane Micah

Re-read my original post and get the sense of it, this Topic may have no relation to you to start off with......

Damn my friend you are way off. After just viewing my post again I totally typed that wrong. I was talking about people screaming that they are down and they have the cash etc... then they back out all of a sudden at the end. Which slows the process down. If you products that is great if I like them or want them I will buy them from you. You took my post and this thread way over the top there was no need to call me out like that. If I did not get your post oh well then I did not get it. Oh and by the way ***** I don't take threats lightly be that they are over the internet or to my face. So as I say AGAIN you better check your tone son.
